Tuesday, June 18-Wednesday, June 19. Walk across Our Nation's Capital (2 days-29 mi.). Walk from St. John the Evangelist Church in Clinton, Maryland to St. Catherine Laboure (The Avalon School) in Wheaton, Maryland.
The Camino of Maryland DC Route is an exciting spiritual journey through the heart of Washington DC. This Route is a 2 day - 29 mile trek, exploring the beauty of the Catholic faith, seeing the magnificent Basilica of the Immaculate Conception - the largest Catholic church in North America. Along the way, you will also be reminded of the grandeur of the Capital City, with its iconic monuments and buildings, and culminating at St. Catherine Laboure Parish in Weaton, MD, and home of the Avalon School. Avalon School for boys is one of the founding member schools for the Camino of Maryland.
