Northern Route
4 Days - 72 Miles
Thursday, June 18 - Sunday, June 21. Walk the Northern Camino (4 days-69 mi.). Start at St. Catherine Labouré, Maryland, and end with mass (1:30pm), at the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
The Northern Route of the Camino of Maryland offers an experience that blends the beauty of nature with the art and architecture of man's expression of gratitude as seen in our national shrines. Starting at St. Catherine Laboure Parish and home of the Avalon School for boys, you will pass through the suburbs of Montgomery County, leaving the energy of the urban and find solace in Barnesville, Frederick, Thurmont, and finally ending at the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmittsburg. Along the way, you will be encouraged to reflect, connect, and explore a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. Come join us for the inspiring journey of the Northern Route.
