The Maryland Camino Southern Route is a pilgrimage like no other. Taking place in the historic state of Maryland, this pilgrimage is a celebration of the deep historic roots of the Catholic faith in the founding of Maryland. Participants will have the chance to walk in the footsteps of Lord Baltimore and the gentlemen adventurers who brought the Catholic faith tradition to the English-speaking new world. In addition, they will take part in Mass at St. Clements Island, the site of the first Mass in Maryland.
This pilgrimage is unique not only because it celebrates the history of the Maryland Catholic faith, but also because it is an exploration of the countryside of the state. Marylands Camino is the perfect way to experience the beauty of nature and the joy of faith all in one.
